SLENDACOR®* Weight Management Complex - patented, synergistic formula based on three plant extracts: turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome, curry (Murraya coenigii) leaf and moringa (Moringa oleifera) leaf extract. It has clinically proven properties which support weight loss^1,2.

A daily dose of SLENDACOR® used in clinical trials (900 mg) is contained in 2 portions (50 g) of SHAPE CODE® Slim Shake.

In 2018, a 16-week clinical trial was conducted on 140 obese people¹. The subjects received 900 mg of the formula per day (in two doses of 450 mg each). They also used a calorie-reduced diet combined with a daily 30-minute physical activity (5 days a week). The study has shown that the formula effectively supports weight control. On day 14, a statistically significant reduction in body weight, waist and hip circumference (*p <0.0001) was recorded

(Figure 1).

After 16 weeks (112 days), the average weight loss was 5.36 kg, BMI decreased by an average of 2.05 and waist circumference decreased by an average of 5.08 cm. It was shown that weight loss was primarily resulted from the reduction of body fat. In addition, the blend helped to keep normal blood cholesterol level. It was also noted that the formula is well tolerated by the subjects and is safe in use. In 2018, the results of the clinical trial were published in the highly influential scientific journal Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism (IF2018 6.13).

Another clinical trial² with the formula showed that after only 8 weeks, subjects using SLENDACOR® had a significant reduction in body weight and BMI (body mass index) compared to the placebo group. SLENDACOR® (900 mg/day) was used in combination with an appropriate diet and 30-minutes physical activity 5 days a week. It has also been shown that the formula maintains normal blood glucose levels. It is also safe and well tolerated.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast protein - yeast protein contained in the formula is a branded, top-quality ingredient with a unique composition and patented production method. It’s a vegan protein with a very high content of BCAA amino acids (total content of valine, leucine and isoleucine is 23.3%). Yeast protein is also an attractive alternative for plant-based protein. It contains not only a full set of amino acids (including all exogenous amino acids), but also B vitamins, minerals (including zinc, magnesium and selenium) and beta-glucan.

Chickpea protein - vegan protein with a high content of BCAA (17%) and unique composition. In addition to amino acids, it contains vitamins (A and E), potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc.

Medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs) - sourced from coconut oil. MCTs are fats in which digestion and absorption occur in a diffrent way than in typical fats. Their absorption takes place directly from the intestinal epithelial cells, from where they are then transported straight to the liver without being built into chylomicrons. MCTs can be digested without the presence of lipase and emulsifying salts of bile acids. Therefore, they digest faster and easier than their long-chain counterparts.

Pectins extracted from citrus fruit peel - pectins are the main structural ingredient of cell walls in young plants. Pectins are a mix of oligo- and polysaccharides; they belong to the soluble fraction of dietary fibre. They contain mostly d-galacturonic acid and saccharides such as L-rhamnose, L-arabinose, D-galactose, D-xylose and L-fucose. The highest content of pectine substances is found in citrus fruit peel (20-35%).

Components of the vitamin and mineral formula: vitamin A (retinyl acetate), plant-based vitamin D (cholecalciferol), vitamin E (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate), vitamin K2 (menaquinone), vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), thiamine (thiamine mononitrate), riboflavin (riboflavin), niacin (nicotinamide), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), folic acid (L-methyl-folic acid), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), biotin (D-biotin), pantothenic acid (D-pantothenate calcium), potassium (potassium chloride), calcium (calcium carbonate), phosphorus (potassium and sodium salts of orthophosphoric acid), magnesium (magnesium carbonate), iron (iron(II) fumarate), zinc (zinc gluconate), copper (copper(II) sulphate), manganese (manganese sulphate), selenium (sodium selenate), chromium (chromium(III) chloride), molybdenum (sodium molybdate), iodine (potassium iodide).

Inulin from chicory root - inulin belongs to soluble fibre fraction; it does not get digested by human body, but undergoes fermentation in the large intestine thanks to the action of bacteria. This process results in short-chain organic acids (acetic, propionic, lactic and butyric acids), which support peristalsis. Inulin ia a prebiotic, thus it belongs to the so-called functional nutrients which supportt the human body.

Acacia Senegal fibre - the third type of soluble fibre contained in SHAPE CODE® Slim Shake. It is sourced from acacia trees growing in Africa. Similarly to inulin, it is a prebiotic.

Mangosteen extract - mangosteen is a perennial tree native to the tropical climate of southern Asia. Mangosteen fruit are used due to their numerous valuable properties. The most interesting ingredient of garcinia fruit are xanthones (such as alpha-mangostin, beta-mangostin, gamma-mangostin, garcinone E); also bioflavonoids and triterpenoids.

Powdered matcha leaves - matcha green tea contains a large quantity of catechins (which belong to flavonoids), which are strong antioxidants. Additionally, it contains a valuable amino acid: L-theanine, vitamins A, E and C and minerals such as potassium, zinc, calcium and iron.
